Transferring a model from one simulator to another can be a time consuming process. SimSci has developed an Excel based tool to help translation of PIPEPHASE, INPLANT and VISUAL FLARE simulations into SimCentral. For PRO/II we have developed a stream importing tool capable of importing feed stream data with library, petroleum and assay components. This presentation will demonstrate these tools.

To maintain product specification targets for distillation columns, dynamic simulation can be used to identify potential operational issues/concerns. We will examine the system wide effects and the time required to arrive at steady state.
